Hello! Grace here.

I’m really quite enjoying blogging to you a few days a week. All of your gorgeous comments, feedback and insight keep me going. It isn’t easy! I don’t know HOW my Mum does it every. single. day. Really, it’s hard! Especially when you’re like us and want to make it ‘100%’ every time! Even two times a week can be daunting some weeks…

ha! I’ve been waiting to share this pic!

Well, now I’m blogging thrice a week! And moving forward, to make more room for Youtube Tuesdays, my blogs are moving to Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 🙂 Got that?

Okay, so I have to tell you a funny story. I wasn’t sure if I could share it with you…

…But my Mum gave me verbal permission! Ha!

On Monday I took a 20 minute afternoon break to call my Oma & Grandad. One of my favorite things to do. I often call them, and they light up my day, without realizing it. But this time I got more than I bargained for!

My Grandad always answers the phone first, and we’ll catch up on things; the news, the weather, each others health etc. He’ll share some UK COVID19 updates with me, and I’ll tell him what’s going on here in NY.

So, he starts giving me updates on Boris… (imagine Michael Caines accent)

———————–

GRANDAD: Yeah well, Boris, not looking good is it? He’s been moved to the ICU!

ME: I’d just heard that actually. That’s terrible news, Grandad.

GRANDAD: Yep, not sure what that means for him exactly. But he’s in the intensive care unit, yeah. He’s not on the vibrator though. Just the oxygen.

*MOMENT OF LONG SILENCE*

ME: Grandad, I think you mean a ventilator.

*EVEN LONGER MOMENT OF SILENCE*

GRANDDAD: *Starts wheezing with laughter*

ME: That wouldn’t do you much good would it!

Anyway, we tried to continue to have a normal conversation but I couldn’t stop laughing. He eventually gave up and handed the phone to my Oma (German for Grandmother). She always sits next to him and grabs at the phone so she can have her turn.

After about 10 minutes of normal catch up and conversation with her (I’d decided not to bring up Grandads faux pas, incase it was inappropriate for her!)…

ME: Yeah, there’s a lot going on right now, Oma. As long as you two are doing ok..

OMA: Vell, I heard Johns little slip up.

*IMMEDIATE HYSTERICAL CACKLING ENSUES FROM US BOTH*

OMA: (yells at Grandad) If zat vere ze case John, ve would be running to ze hospital!

Well… I just about lost it! I couldn’t come back from that. How’s that for a Monday afternoon?

It is good to laugh, especially when you can’t do too much else. Thanks for that one Grandad, it’s lasted me DAYS.

Meanwhile, we’ve all been doodling away! And our facebook groups Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide are growing quickly! It’s lovely to be a part of it.

I spent the first few days doodling with a standard whatever pen, and though it worked fine, I decided to put in an order for myself for some micron pens and they turned up last Friday! I promise you that I’m not being selly. They just make SUCH a difference. And now I want to doodle on everything!

If you have missed any daily doodles, or want to catch up on any, they are ALL available here.

And don’t forget… if you have any queries, Jeannine and I take it in turns to hang around on the Clarity website, in case you want to ask any questions or just need some company 🙂

Be safe! Be calm.

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo
